Our purpose is to see communities transformed and renewed. We partner with change-makers to support faith-inspired initiatives grow and multiply.
Passionate people are doing amazing mahi in parishes and communities throughout Aotearoa. They focus on solutions for the social and economic challenges their communities face. Yet, too often, these local change-makers face massive administrative burdens. Navigating funding pathways and legal structures rob them of time in the community.
Bishop’s Community Development Trust lifts this burden. We show how to structure for success, grow impact and meet legal obligations. Our funding advice, human resource and communications tools allow local change-makers to focus on their mahi. From Wellington city to Ohakune over 20 community organisations partner with BCDT.
